Just look at the gap in performance of marquez and smith, both first time on gp machinery. I dont like marc but he sure deserves motogp. Not so sure about that for smith. Marc will podium for sure this year bt i dont think he is ready for win.

And let's not forget that it didn't get dry until afternoon today - so very little time for Dovi. Promising start, definitely.

Marc was strong as expected.

Not sure where all this sudden Ducati praise is coming from, Hayden is right about where the GP12 has been for the last couple seasons, .5 to 1 second off the front runners on Yamahas or Hondas. Dovi's a great rider, no surprise he can keep pace with Hayden after becoming acquainted with the bike... but suddenly everything's great now and Dovi is their savior? C'mon people, at least try and keep the ignorance somewhat subtle.
