count backwards see above with my previous post. id also say the same applies for reasoning behind why rossi or anyone else couldnt emulate caseys success . whos the better rider is inconsiquential to me.. to me caseys talent is as unique as vallentinos just in different ways . im happy to have witnessed both

@Impartial Opinion.I agree, both have been a marvel to watch over the years. But i wish Stoner would get the respect he deserves for what he managed to achieve for Ducati. The top speed advantage trump card always comes into play with a certain element of people when 2007 is brought up.But when you fast foreward to 2012,you will find that Ducati had the top speed advantage at several tracks this season but failed to win a single race. The top speed advantage seems not to be the big deciding factor that some people think.Usually the ones who try to belittle Stoners incredible performance on the Ducati over 4 long hard seasons.

+ in 2008 Bridgestone was cooked special for Rossi. All othoer roder had to adapt Rossis Brodgestone...

I have not read that BS centered thier development around Rossi. I do know that BS did not have the resources to supply the full grid initially, and I'm sure those resources were stretched to accomodate Rossi and his needs. To what extent that hindered Ducati is pure speculation on my end.

count backwards.... also agree as i atested to earlier only stoner had what it takes as is self evident now i spose lol.. but neither will i seek to undermine rossis achievements. there are allways surcumstancial influences for a riders successes like it or not. i myself believed dani wouldnt be a contender once the 800 era was over (the bike honda instigated to aid dani in breaking rossis dominance)how wrong i was and how ignorant i was to the effects of susstained injuries on a riders confidence over virtualy every season with dani.even though ive raced myself and know how important confidence is in this sport,i am guilty of forgetting that these guys are flesh and bone just like the rest of us even though their abillities are superhuman their phisicalaties are not...

Not quite sure why Stoner fans don't believe he gets the respect he deserve, these days MotoGP journalists are falling over themselves to write about how he is the most impressive rider they have ever seen on two wheels.

So not everyone likes him, tough! Not everyone likes Rossi as is evidenced by this site.

If you read the site objectively you will see that there as many of the Stoner Jihadi as the Yellow Brigade, both are as bad as each other

thanks CRT ... ITS a shame to me to hear people expressing so much bile and negativety towards the participants of this beloved sport of ours . have they ever approached the notion in reality of someone pushing or sliding the front tyre into a 150mph corner like thease guys do lap after lap on the same piece of tarmack . its sad how dissaffected we can all get from the real world through technological dissasociation because what thease guys are doing is as dangerous and as skillfull as it gets..period..
