“Yesterday I was able to do 30 laps on the very wet and the feeling was good. Good to be back, good feeling with the bike” – Valentino Rossi.

No I believe your beloved Stoner was lapped (along with Hayden) a couple years back after they decided to run wet's on a drying track. They fell off the pace pretty quick...

" Comparing him to Cal, Marc, Andrea etc is outright insulting, to say the least. "

But true, as that is where he will be fighting in 2013.

A happy Valentino Rossi is going to do MotoGP a world of good! I don't care what anybody says, there's nobody can battle like Rossi can, something that has been sadly missing over the last few years. Valentino is back where he belongs and it is going to be brilliant!!!

Guys as entertaining as some of you think you are with your Rossi/Stoner my mum is better than your mum routine... I think we'd all agree that all we want is competitive racing amongst all 3 factory teams.. and yes that includes Vale.
If I get a season of 5 - 6 different winners and constant battling for positions.. a bit more like Moto2 and Moto3 then I truly don't care who wins !

Grow up with the hating and lets hope MotoGP 2013 delivers the racing we crave.

@ is rossi the first WC who get lapped? anyone know?
Posted by lastlap

as banmac stated no he's not, yes stoner and haydent were lapped as he stated,
which is what can happen with a flag to flag race, so your attempt to bag Rossi for getting lapped in wet conditions after switching bikes is void

I hope Rossi will be able to be at the top. I also hope that Marquez will able to be there, along with Dovi, Crutchlow not to mention Lorenzo and Pedrosa. Why? Because I want to see intense battles, hard fought titles.

Being a fan for one rider does not mean you have to talk bs about the others. Being pro something or someone is not necessarilly being against something else or somebody else.

I would love to see all MotoGP riders smile. It means they are happy with what they are doing and that is the way to be.

The guy is in love with the bike and the bike's in love with him (at least judging by the way it treated Spies..) You can tell by looking at his face he's happy, he must be feeling like he's just finished a prison sentence and is back with his baby. I'm sure he appreciates he's been given a second chance and will want to make the most of it.
