"It's always good to finish the year and the test in front, but even more to know that everything works well" - Dani Pedrosa.

I still remember all the silly comments this time last year the best one being that dani would be no good on the 1000cc bike and would have to go to moto2 lol. dani has an amazing talent always has had just been unfit every season just like casey this year.

I am an absolute Rossi fan, have been so for all his motogp career. No one will ever change that.
However, 2013 seems to me like it will be a Dani Pedrosa world championship year (as long as there are no injuries etc)
Lets be honest, Lorenzo is very consistent but as much as i like him also, he really has been shown the way by DP this year.
I feel that VR will win a "few" races and 2014 will be more of a chance at the title year for MM.
I have some major concern about Marc "the mental" Marquez that he is onna cause some baaaaaaaaad crashes with riders. Hope i am wrong, but it's just one of those gut feelings :/

RG500..... and who broke Rossi's last remaining lap record on Sunday????

True my friend true, but shouldn't Bridgestone be asking themselves WHY it has taken them a further 6 years to get to where Michelin was in 2006 and a further 10cc displacement more power and a much lighter package?

I certainly would be scratching my head!

Peace dudes :)

It makes me laugh how some can cut slack for certain other riders being injured yet be unable to do the same for Dani, who has carried injurys every season since his rookie year in 06!
Dani hasnt upped his game hes simply been injury free in 2012, on it and showing what a great rider he is.

Pedrobot broke the lap record at 1m 32.322. So fair to say the track was in good condition and the surface working well, despite the recent rain.

In the post WSBK Valencia test, Sykes lapped in 1m 32.8s -so just half a second off MotoGP prototype outright lap record, on a steel-braked Superbike! in other words, sykes and the ZX10 have front-running, podium type MotoGP pace?

This truly has to signify that there is little performance-wise between the bikes in the 2 series, and also that the talent level must be pretty close too?

Who else would love to see Sykes get a go on a factory MotoGP bike, just to see what would happen eh?

I know Spain is traditionally the swan song for the season, but in November there is no guarantee of good weather, which is what these boys want to test the machines for the next year. Would it not make sense to end the season somewhere else where there was a better chance of a little heat?

I understand your point with regards to Dani's wins this year had Stoner been racing, though I disagree that Stoner would have won that many given the way Dani was riding. As many people seem to forget, I feel it is necessary to point out that before Stoner hurt his ankle, Pedrosa was ahead in the standings anyway. Clearly Pedrosa hit his best level after Stoner got hurt, so it would have been very difficult for Stoner to end the year on top even without an injury.
