6th place... that would have been 8th place if the yamahas would have remained
8th place is tipical for ducati.
i hope good result for ducat, so they will be more competitive next year.. even tough i doubt it.

Dovi said, “Still, the lap time is quite good, and so is the feeling."

The feeling? Previous riders have says there is no feeling. Who is right? For Dovi's sake, I hope he does better than Rossi and Hayden on this miserable motorcycle. I still think he would have been happier to have remained with Yamaha.

Imagine if Lorenzo had left Yamaha for Ducati. He would not be champion 2012! That is for sure.

Cal in the background there, maybe thinking what could have been...

Pity Spies wasn't around to put some times in too. The competition between the Ducati guys should be pretty fierce next year.

I understand why Dovi says the feeling was good... If everyone remembers, Rossi said many times that the lack of feeling, understear and crapy rear end would only be felt taking the bike to it's limits.
As the track was not completely dried, for sure, Dovi wasn't riding the Ducati at it's limit. He didn't fall once, I mean, the front end was never pushed to the limit of the bike...

@bazinga perhaps the problem was not so much the bike before but the cluless rider who had no understanding of the bike who literally destroyed any myth that he could develope a bike Good rider Yes Developer No!!!

Pushed to the Limit when ???

Ducati now have to repair there image which the smiling assasin (Clown) stuffed there reputation due to all the doctor Crap Media fantasy Was allusion and false ......

Who the hell is this Aliean?? You dont smoke drogs you use other heavy stuff 4sure..

Idiot Kid go back to the Playstacion and pass 15 riders at one corner and pass Pedrosa on the straight doing a wheelie with the GP12 i know you can..lolo

1 sec off Pedrosa does not seem bad. Lets not forget that Pedrosa really knows the soul of his Honda, and Dovi has never ridden Ducati. If lack of experience on a new machine is worth 0.3, and lack of good set up is also 0.3, we could see some progress for Italian factory. Even if Pedrosa was cruising, which I seriously doubt, it wasnt bad lap time.

1 min 33.238 on his first outing on the Ducati

compared to Rossi

1 min 32.877 in 2012 qualifying in his 2nd year with Ducati, albeit first on the 1000cc

I think it could be a lot worse so far, cosidering the conditions.
