That depends entirely on why you were hired and why you're still working there in the first place, doesn't it? Certainly there's a point at which you can go too far with that, such as, "when it's not true", but still, if it*is* true, then perhaps you would be better off saying that to the sponsors and helping them to set you up with new & better management.

ass-kissing to keep your job isn't going to help you when you lose your job anyway because the company management and product-line truly do suck LOL
