Come On Crash, you guys could discribe the picture a bit better.. I remember that in 2005 at Valencia was wet weather similar to 2012.. How we know what was the effort of riders for we compared the times?? Stoner can be more closer then Marquez because him 2005 no one bored on make a fast lap why you dont tell us the name of the rider that did the fastest lap im 2005 for Stoner be only 0.64s of the pace, All bet it was nicky Hayden..lolo.. this year Pedrosa whanted to prove us the Boss at Repsol=).lolo thats why he did a good lap on this condicioes to let Marquez at 1 secund..ehe

Perhaps if Casey had won more championships or at least consecutive championships I would put more weight on his test debut. Since he failed to do so, what does it matter?

Never mind with that m8.. Remember Stoner was WC with Honda him 2011 and in 2012 could still do roocki mistakes trying to get poles wille Pedrosa beat the record.. This are situacions that can happen diferente situacions..eheh But not saying that Pedrosa is better rider then stoner, Stoner is better but Pedrosa is equal fast it depends of the track the problem is that Pedrosa is more weack making the race distance most of the times but maybe for 2013 he can breath more confidence we never know...

Seriously? On the Ducati that EVERYONE seems to label an absolute POS!?!?! Why didn't Rossi win back to back on it???

I'm not starting a Rossi vs Stoner debate, but everyone dismisses Rossi's results in the last two years (After blaming the shoulder) to the POS Ducati. Casey won on it, and binned it other times, proving his hunger to win. Something his fans admire, the will to go out and DO HIS ABSOLUTE BEST EVERY TIME!!! Not when he felt like it. THAT is a true racer. As for people say he should've slowed down when ahead so he didn't crash, ACCORDING TO ROSSI'S COMMENT, that wouldn't have worked as he too said it would let go for no good reason!!!!

@ porcupine.
you sound like an old whiny house wife who is never satisfied with anything.
what the hell does something in the future have to do with his effort on a satellite honda that day?
you must be one of them guys that forget he spent most of his career on a ducati eh!!
you know! the bike no one seems to be able to win a race on .

Vilas what is it with you, seriously?

You cannot stand the fact that Stoner is so good can you. Does it really get to you that much to see Stoner at the top of this list?

The sooner you realise that Stoner has been the best rider in the modern era of MotoGP, the sooner you will be able to let it go and enjoy the Sport more.

Accept it and move on my friend. :-)
