As you know, HKFUI is a Stoner fan....... But I'm always stating that ALL the riders are great.

Casey Stoner is a legend!!!

HKFUI doesn't understand all the hatred on this site...I really don't like JL, but he is a great rider...I used to not like Colin Edwards at the start, back when he was in SBK, but I really like him now.... All these guys do a great job.

I used to really like VR, but he and JB lost my support when they slagged Stoner...Rossi is still a great rider though - not so much on a Ducati, but he's done enough to earn the "great" status.....Just as Stoner has!

I hope MM does well next year, I also think DP is somewhat deserving of a world title in Motogp....I'm not a big fan of DP, but he can ride when he wants to...

I'll miss Stoner and I don't mind that some people don't like him, but those same people would have my respect if they would just acknowledge he's a great too!!!

HKFUI is an Australian.

To me Moto GP now is a bit like watching the 100m sprint without Usain Bolt. I'll still be watching but I know the fastest person is not there.

Just so we know how special that achievement by Stoner is. Nicky Hayden was the fastest on his works Honda. He was about 1.3 seconds slower than his race lap of a few days before. Pedrosa was 1.1 seconds behind Hayden which in itself is very impressive after only 62 laps. Elias was also about 1.3 seconds off his Yamaha race pace on his debut on the Honda. Stoner did about 35 laps, the same as Elias and beat his time by 0.6 of a second. So Stoner's first ride on a MotoGP bike he gets the second fastest time of the day and beats othesr with far more experience of the bikes. Equal weather conditions for all on the day. No rain, just cold track and gusty winds. On a satellite bike! No wonder Cechinello manged to get funding and a bike so quickly for Casey.

WTF?!! What does this stupid comparison tell us??? NOTHING. Yesterday was a wet day, how can you put Smiths times into comparison with others riding in under absolutely different circumstances? :) Anyway... a god joke!
