"10-16-12 remember these numbers as anything short of that in his first year back on the M1 means Stoner would have owed his a$$ once again."

OK - if we can set the stage like in 2011:
- team mate comes into the season recovering from injury and than gets taken out during the season by another rider and missed 4-5 races
- the competing factory (yamaha in this case)bikes are significantly slower

eh Home, remember Rossi won 3 in a row on a honda your boy Stacey 1 and gone fishing. As for Rossi exposed reading your post about Rossi winning only with special tires suggests you obviously don't know what your taking about and are just a TROLL.Or your both probably there there now or maybe fraud 46, either way Stacey "lite switch" Stoner the legend in his own mind is gone and soon to be forgotten forever. As for Rossi if he wins or not he will always be remembered as one of the greatest ever, and that is what really puts the fly in the beer of the haters. keep hating TROLLS it wont ever change that fact.

Like his time at Ducati Rossi will be making a calculated attempt to win the title on the Yamaha.

If he can do it I would expect it in his first year.

The test meant nothing, Rossi has always been the apposite of Stoner.

Casey could hop on a bike in practise and could and would give his best straight off.

Valentino needed the heat of a race to give his best, this has led to the legend that Valentino is a great "fighter" - maybe or maybe just an under qualifier...

I expect him to go hard for a few races, if he can pull it off he will, if it seems too hard I think he will just give up like on the Ducati.

He has nothing left to prove and wont want to hurt himself...

I reckon two years ago most observers and particularly his fans wouldn't have settled for multiple race wins.

That will be a good achievement, all the best to him, but the kids aren't scared of him any more and they haven't gotten any slower.
