What will be the minimum needed for Valentino Rossi to consider the 2013 MotoGP World Championship season a success?

If he gets the bike he wants, then he'll destroy Dani, marquez and the rest, but Lorenzo will be his main man to beat which is not impossible for Rossi.

I think Rossi and Ducati is just a mismatch. He will be far more competitive on the Yamaha. For me the question is: How much did his shoulder really influence his results in 2010 (apart from broken leg). I can remember that he really smoked the competition in the pre-season tests that year (even Lorenzo).
But if this shoulder issue didn't affect him a lot than it will be difficult this year to match Lorenzo/Pedrosa or even Marquez.
But otherwise he will be world champion again.

if Ducati is a piece of sh*t as some want to say, vale will have to beat jorge to show his class----and he certainly cannot get beaten by a Ducati.

I dont think that Rossi will DESTROY anyone.....not Dani, Jorge or Marc!

Dani - The best rider from mid-season this year. Fact

Jorge - Rode the wheels off the inferior Yamaha and was DESERVED World Champion. He also does not fall or suffer from Rossi mind games. Mentally the strongest rider in MotoGP.

Marc - The Future and takes no crap from anyone!

@ Gaz

We'll see....Dani Pedrosa title contender??? never!! Marques future?? Not at least until Lorenzo and Rossi retire. and Lorenzo, he got beaten regularly by Dani which means Rossi can beat him with no problem if he gets the bike he wants. and yes Rossi is capable of winning 2013 and 2014's titles.
