@The Moaner,

Ok as sad as it may be (for some Rossi fans), i have checked wikipedia as you suggested and looked up the head to head stats. Here goes, hope you dont get too worked up by these facts and figures.....

Titles - VR 2, CS 2
Wins - VR 26, CS 38
Podiums- VR 61, CS 69
Poles - VR 19, CS 39
F/Laps - VR 22, CS 29

Average Championship finish - VR 3.285, CS 3.285
Average Points finish - VR 243, CS 259
Total Points - VR 1702, CS 1815

So, head to head during the same time period, with both riders completing full seasons agaisnt each other.......Stoner either equals or beats Rossi in EVERY SINGLE stat!!!

Stoner has even beaten him with Rossi having 4 more races. And lets not forget that Stoner was a rookie for one of those seasons, on a second rate bike. And thats without even mentioning that most of this was done on the Ducati.

Wake up Rossi fans. Look at these stats and realise how ridiculous your comments are.

Casey Stoner, Six of the worst:

-Punching de Puniet during warm-up session at Le Mans

-Deliberately pushing Karel Abraham during testing session at Mugello

- Blaming marshalls at Jerez and Germany for 'keeping him from getting a decent result'

-Revealing to the world his bitter jealousy of 9 times World Champion Valentino Rossi by telling him 'Obviously your ambition outweighed your talent' when the later approached to apologize to him

-All his other public shots at Rossi, wanting everyone to love him like they love Rossi and being so bitter that no-one does

-Quitting mid season due to "lactose intolerance" Really?

Stoner, amazing rider. Unfortunately his nasty personality outweighed his talent

Yes, let's make an incomplete comparison between Casey and Vale. Forget the five championships that Vale won at the start of his career. It looks better for Casey that way. Also, it prevents Casey's career from looking quite weak.

@ lol, the same could be said for Rossi............

Valetino Rossi, Six of the worst:

-Punching Biaggi on the face.

-Deliberately Trying to push Lorenzo out of Yamaha.

- Blaming the bike and Ducati for 'keeping him from getting a decent result'

-Revealing to the world that Stoner did a better job than him on the Ducati.

-All his other public shots at Stoner, 'not giving 100%', '80 seconds' etc wanting everyone to love him by acting the clown off track, which his sheep seem to love of course. And at Lorenzo, the 'wall', 'him or me' etc.

-Quitting Ducati because he is unable to perfom like Stoner did, and going back Yamaha with his tail between his legs. Really?

Rossi, amazing rider. Unfortunately his nasty personality outweighed his talent and he failed to get the better of Stoner.

LOL @ lol!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love it how Rossi personality comes into it when Rossi fans cant use stats to try and show he's better. LOLOLOL!!!

porcupine, but Stoner wasnt even around when Rossi got his other titles, so thats outof Casey's control. What IS in Casey's control is the resuts when they are lined up along side each other. And we all know the outcome of that, as illustrated above.

Stoner beat Rossi in EVERY SINGLE meaningful stat possible. He beat that guy who had these other 5 titles before he arrived.

And the failure of Rossi with Ducati is just the icing on the cake. He tried and failed to do what Casey did and failed miserably.

Meanwhile, Stoner has the last laugh and is off to spend time with his family. There only one winner, and thats Stoner.

@Lol. You seem to have forgotten that the reference of "ambition outweighing talent" is what your Lord and failing master said about Casey in 2006. That's why it was returned when Lord "T-Bone" Rossi pulled a new boy move on Casey in Jerez. It was just like 2006 but in some sort of paralell universe!?!?!?!

@Porcupine, you could also use the stats of when they both got on a factory bike.... Oh yeah, it's in favor of Rossi. Let's put the sats together when they FACED EACH OTHER.... Oh yeah, Rossi loses..

If you live a yellow life then forget the last line of the above paragraph. If you liked the racing for the last couple of years then F='K any stats..
