MotoGP » 'Honda is fair with its rivals, unlike Ferrari'

“At F1, Ferrari has absolute authority. To be honest, we suffered a lot in that period. In MotoGP, Honda is in a similarly strong position but we like to be fair with our rivals” - Shuhei Nakamoto.

What a bitter statement u said,Sensui by not giving any portion of mention for Casey after what he did to u,which would have been miserably long thropy drought after 2006 fluck if hadn't he moved fr Ducati to ur team.
tell me,is it b'cause u failed to tease casey even with ur big money?
how come he easily forgets Vale's words-IT IS 80 PERCENT ME n 20 PERCENT UR BIKE.
can't believe he trashed Ferrari but he himself seems to have no pride.

The big 3 of MGP wants to keep developing thier bikes with all these trick electronics and so on because they put so so much cash in to this. Electronics that might end up on the showroom floor.

But in these times, unfortunatly the sport lacks riders, teams, sponsors, close racing and crowd. the championship needed a change and gets one next year.
And hopfully for the better.

“I believe motorcycle fans love to follow the racing to see the advances in motorcycle technology, not just to witness the battles between riders on the track,” said Nakamoto.

Are these the same fans who watch porn for the story line?

@Talentfan Agreed. Those who insist we need to preserve 'pure prototypes' forget racing history began with non-factory teams modifying road bikes to for racing. The present factory bikes aren't even 'pure prototypes' either as they are limited to a formula with a maximum number of cylinders, 6 gears, no dustbin fairings etc. Most of these rules were imposed to prevent spiralling costs in the 60s when Honda's 250 had 6 cylinders and 125s had up to 14 gears. Honda quit but the sport continued. It's a shame now that Dorna can restrict the excesses of WSBK that it didn't simply call Honda's bluff. Still, it looks like we might get KR style 'prototype' powered CRTs by 2014 if the rumours are correct. Still need to increase fuel and restrict the ECUs and rider aids though.

Shii this is a beautifull comment to read thats 4sure, im Motogp i star to whant to wach Honda lossing because of Valentino but i never say that hate Honda infact the only true is that i admired this guys a lot because its allways them has a Team that i fear most and is not for is riders even if they have a lot of good riders, for me Honda was allways about enginering and in Motorcycles they are geneuis we can t say other word, i star to dislike because whant happen with Rossi and i smille a lot when i wach Rossi giving hard time to Honda on the Yamaha other brand that i love, but waching this guys at Honda talcking like this it only show is Honor and the way they understand the SPORT the GAME with Respect and they whant to keep playing.. 4sure they allways whant to win, but in first place they whant to grow with there rivals and enjoy there moments proving there technology and good racing.. Respect for Honda they are really good on road models and speacly making exotic machines like M

@ M1M. The manufacturer's are involved why? When it comes down to brass tacks, it is to promote and 'prove' that their product / tech / brand / company is the best.
This means that they want every possible advantage so that they can win.
This of course is exactly the opposite of what the RACING needs, which is a fair level playing field and arena for the racers to compete in, so the best rider/team combination can win.
The fact is that the fundamental wants and needs of the manufacturer's means that they have to destroy the ethos of fair competition in order to attain their corporate goals.
I think if more fans actually understood this (and why they really watch racing) then there'd be much more support for the argument that manufacturer's have no place being directly involved (unless fans are happy to accept that the game is rigged, and that waht they are watching is actually a lie).

@ Vilas. I'm sorry, but you are far too easily fooled I think. Honda aren't doing anything other than reinforcing their control so they can continue doing what they want to do, regardless of the negative impact upon the sport.
Don't you get it? Honda NEED to be in control so they can massively influence the outcome in their favour?
Good grief - would you play poker with a player who you KNEW has a marked deck of cards and was CHEATING! of course you wouldn't. SO we can't blame BMW, Aprilia & Kawasaki etc. from staying out of a game that they know they cannot win.
Its also why sponsors are steering clear of MotoGP. everything about the mfr's involvement in MotoGP is ultimately destructive to MotoGP. You need to think beyond what it means for your hero Rossi , and more about what it means for the sport as a whole maybe?

Motogp is not a show to put people smilling and really emocional, it can creat that if you have close racing but Motogp is like one Mortal Kombat, the organazacion send the rules the manufacters understand the rules and build there machine with the best they have folling the spec rules and at the end who have the genius to improve better the parts that they can worck normaly its the Team that will Win!! Like Mv Agusta on the past, Honda is the Top Team and you can dislike that, you can whant to wach close racing and thinghs more emotinal but that is not the true of this Sport, this Sport is really about Manufactors and WHO is the Best.. IF Honda is the best and they can win esaly is just a prove of the WORCk they do and we can t cry, you have to aprecieat and somethimes say WTF they could a bit worst only to give more chances to But on this game is not the best that have to creat the show, the other manufacters have to worck more to be at the same level has Honda, Yamaha i
