Well said unregistered.

Laverty is a lovely bloke but the last two years he has failed to properly challenge for the BSB title despite being on good kit.

He is not the best in the BSB paddock, i just hope he is getting paid well as Birdy's CRT project is a dead end street in any case

Good move for Laverty if he can get it and fair play to him - his bike may not be the best but if you're unlikely to be a title challenger elsewhere then who wouldn't turn down the chance to race against the best?

And on a side note, Laverty's other options "are to remain in BSB - alongside Alex Lowes at Honda or with Shaun Muir's former title-winning Yamaha team" - does this mean then that Alex Lowes to Samsung Honda is a done deal??

Absolutely ridiculous decision hasn't been consistent, should give to tommy hill least he proves he has title winning riding ability. Or keep Ellison he did perfectly well as a pose to the expectations of the year, what results does PB expect?

Ellison had a one year contract to ride the CRT. He rode the bike for one year. PBM decided to offer the contract to another rider in 2013. I don't see what Paul Bird has done wrong. It's his prerogative as to whom he employs?

Am i reading this right one crt team two makes of bike and engine, this surely has to be a disaster.I on a personal view would have kept James and put on another first class rider but i think Birdie just couldnt attract a first class rider.

This is making a mockery of Moto Gp! Paul Birds desire to have a british rider has him clutching at straws. Shorely Ellison should be given another crack. All becoming a bit of joke

Hey where have you been man . Tommy Hill has apparently decided to take a year out of racing . Reckons he is burnt out or something . Maybe waiting for some doors to open. But i think he is a bit hacked off to see guys been offered rides in World championship events and no one has offered him anything .

hill wouldn't go to motogp as he wouldn't want to ride at the back of the field, even though it would show other teams in wsb etc that he's up for riding in Europe instead of just riding in the uk his whole career
