"Let's hope this doesn't turn into another Ducati rider using a shoulder as an excuse for poor results!"

I thought they just used cheese allergies for excuses?

I hope he recovers his strength quickly for his wrestle with the Ducati. He will need it!
Hope to see Dovi put the red beast back on the podium a few times next year.

@ 948, the guy with the 'cheese allergy' didnt need to make any excuses because he was on the podium on a regular basis, with a few wins thrown in for good measure too.

Whereas the guy with the 'shoulder injury excuse' was no where.

There is a huge difference there my friend. Making an 'excuse' for not winning the race is VERY different to making an excuse for finsihing mid-pack.

Anyway, Dovi. I cant see him doing any worse than Rossi. Both are good points collectors and consistent riders, but hopefully Dovi can keep up his consistency but at a higher level than Rossi did.

One things for sure. They are well used by their sponsors - in Dovizioso's case 'Monster' ?? Some of them Red Bull. They (sponsors) can buy these riders cheap out of their lose change. This is been said with the greatest respect to all riders.
