A confident Sykes on a well sorted ZX10r should = a 2013 title. No Biaggi helps also but either way it will be his year I think. The teething issues of late-race fading should be resolved at this point, his last handful of races in 2012 showed a drastic improvement! Go Tom ! I will be cheering for you in the last year of REAL World Superbike racing.

I think it's brilliant the way things have panned out for this team.

A few of us (Kawasaki and Tom fans) predicted it happening almost exactly like it did. A teething season and being a title contender in the second year. He was so close and has come on leaps and bounds. I think Baz is going to be very strong next year as well, but I can definitely see Tom fighting for the win again. The guy was so badly underrated.

It might be hard to believe, but Tom was mighty close to being dropped by Kawasaki at the end of last year. Thankfully it didn't happen and he delivered what I hoped he would.
A championship win next year would be so sweet! Best of luck Tom, Baz & Kawasaki.

@ PatrickD

Even worse, he actually WAS dropped by them at the end of 2010!!!!

They kept VERMEULEN ahead of him. Were it not for Paul Bird, who kept him on as a Paul Bird Team rider, he wouldn't be there.

SOOOO Happy he stayed.

Well, nothing says "sure about that?" like going out and winning a race when you are being shown the door. Grinner & BAZ-ooka... going to be great watching the green machines up front!
