He's a nice guy it's a CRT ride and he's talented. Pedercini Kwak is a small team that he's ridden for and he is good maybe not quite MOTOGP yet but he will get there I think. Lots of top domestic riders don't want to ride the CRT bikes e.g Byrne, Hill etc so give him a break.

Karel Abraham's father owns a lot more than the Brno circuit and has earned his ride.
Staring I know little about apart from he was Aus champion in 3 classes, so if Starring does not deserve the ride does any national champ say like Cammier?

Bryan Staring is the fastest rider currently still racing. He's beaten the best riders Australia has to offer over the past few years, 2009 supersport champion with Factory Yamaha ,2010 SBK champion on a privateer Honda then has been winning races in the superstock champs on a Kawi with Pedercini who had never won a race before.
No rider in Australia works harder than Bryan to achieve his goal. He deserves a chance and he will succeed

He doesn't hold back. Fell a few times when leading so his three wins for the year in SSTK is a bit disappointing. After mid year when they finally sorted the bike out he was the best of the field.

Wow Dorna - you must really hate Ant West ... As an Aussie I've got to say its quite sad they're trying to buy viewers by putting a token Aussie in there (admittedly it's a good idea as motogp won't make the evening news next year unless Rossi wins) but goes to show its definitely all about the money (hopefully starring proves to be a good choice!)

Well Darren, as an Aussie I can say that Westy has had more than enough chances to excel in the world championships and that he is well past the point where Dorna should be backing him. We can dribble rubbish here all day but the proof will be in the pudding at the pre-season tests, that will be be where Bryan Staring will get to prove himself. There's people out there who are paid to get the the bums of riders who show the most potential onto the seats of race bikes, they are way better at this than any of us and they've obviously seen enough talent from Bryan to warrant their decision.
