I actually know the bloke and for some on here to suggest he payed his way are way off, he is from a very humble family in Perth and certainly are not rolling in cash and are in some ways very simmilar to Casey in that his family have put everything into Bryan.
He and his brother Anthony were both very good junior motor cross riders but Brian always just had that little bit more luck/desire to win.
A local Honda dealership ( The Honda Shop )had a lot of faith in Brian and gave him some support and introduced him to riding on the black stuff and since then Bryan has made his own luck from his efforts on track
I think he is going to show some of the haters on here a few things

This bloke has one of the best resumes in the world for the job and is perfectly poised for an even greater opportunity but he will have to exceed the machines potential to avoid having his career ambushed but I think he will surprise everyone.

I have known Brian for a number of years he is a talented rider and very dedicated to his team and supporters, doubters will be surprised of his results provided the bike is of a suitable calibre.
A well deserved chance chance for top rider keeping the Aussi flag flying in Moto GP well done Brian!
