while i know bautista may be testing parts and may not have bothered to set quick lap with a new set of tires or something.....but i still didnt expect him to be 6 tenths slower than marc.......

Looks like he's going to be very fast very soon, but I'd say he'll be on the gravel a lot next year. but for 2014 he should be ready to fight for the championship.

Marquez is definitely fast and I did not expect less. I believe that he has much more to come but consistently fast over a race distance and not a flying lap is different and difficult. I think he is up to it.
I would not worry about Bautista being .6 behind, Marquez was messing with set up and comfort on the bike and also riding style. His testing program was probably not as comprehensive as Bautista because he has no frame of reference... after all this is his first dry track day. Both will be faster during preseason. PS the track was green as well after freshly being washed off by the rain, so the pace was off.

Just like Ben Spies on his first MotoGP test after WSBK as a rookie, looked very promising at that time, but look at him now. But still i hope Marquez doesn't end up like Spies,as Rossi's prediction that Marquez'll be fast from the begining n will become a rising star in MotoGP.

WHOA!!! Let us not mention "legend" status yet The dude has not even entered a race with the bike yet... slow the roll Schuchit....

Not saying he does not have potential but potential goes unfulfilled all the time... the truth is if he does not fill the potential on ARGUABLY the best bike on the grid then it might be curtains for him. With that said Dani P has hung on to his ride without producing a championship for 6 going 7 years.....
