Calm down Bob!!

I am a fan of this kid. I believe he will be a title contender sooner than later.

The problem is this "legend" title.... give him a dam chance to race and get his feet in the game before we go labelling him something he is quite some way from. The other point I was making was Pedrosa came in to MGP running circles around the 250 class with 2 titles and even spanked (resoundingly) a certain (back then loud mouth, arrogant) Lorenzo but yet 6-7 years later has yet to produce a title! Point being give the dang Kid (Marquez) a chance to get his feet in the game before this excess amount of pressure and expectations!!
Regardless of your personal crystal ball opinion of years to come!

Will he be able to fight for the 2013 title? Time will tell, but that speed on his second test is impressive, he hardly knows his new bike but he is ultra fast. Remember he did just 25 laps or so on Cheste. And Sepang has fame of being a difficult track.

I am not going to make bold matter of fact predictions about what Marquez will or will not achieve next year. All too easy to make a fool of yourself doing that. But he is quick, and i certainly hope he makes consistant progress toward the sharp end of things. His swashbuckling style of riding is not everybodys cup of tea and is sure to upset some. But i think he is going to add a certain degree of excitement and flair to the proceedings just like Simoncelli did,God bless him.
Can only enhance the viewing in my opinion.

TETLY

"WE" dont know that at all, all "WE" know is that others have done that in the past!!

He has too many qualities with too many big time positives around him.

He/they will fight for the title next year.

I love moto 2 and he clearly was above most the competition on most occasions. the empty track I was referring to was todays test which only has one other racer on it with sub par suspension/everything. still promising given is the first real mostly dry sat for him. though I still think it's a bit early to expect this young man to reach some of the goals st before him on here.

FINALLY some real talent coming up from the moto2/250cc class again. ever since lorenzo who have we had, espargaro? Bautista? barbera who cant finish higher than 6th after 3 years in the premier class?? how is he still here??? at least he's on a crt now. abraham never should have been here. Bradl is ok i suppose didnt have a bad year for a rook, but he should be getting podiums for sure next year. best rookie class since 2008 no doubt.

The GOAT 46 will teach this young boy lesson
TheGoat.

Remember what i said about making bold predictions.I recall many saying the same thing about Stoner when Rossi joined Ducati.
Look what happened.

would have been 8th on the grid....a lot of people on here were hammering jonathan rea for his lap times but didn't he have the same position when he first rode stoner's bike?
