I don't want to poop stir, but all the people saying he was only winning moto2 races because he was on the fastest/best bike have all of a sudden become very silent.

This guy is gonna be something very very serious next year.

MM dominated in moto2, that's true and he also had a very advantageous one of a kind bike, which is fact.

@Scartledge - MM hasn't proved anything on the factory test. Fanbois aside, he is on the best bike in the test so he better have the best times. Remember, the Yellow fans were certain that Vale was slow because he was on the worst bike. Bautista, who is just as fast of a rider was on a lesser speced bike for the test, so the BS about how MM was faster means nada! IF AB and MM switched bikes the time sheet times would be reversed as well.

so marquez backers put your money where your mouth is. if he really IS that good, why is no one saying he'll win races next year, too bold of a prediction? seems people like to shy away from stuff like that. if you really feel like marquez is that great say he will a race or change your measure of success. not hating at all in fact I think he will win a race next year, first rookie to do so since 08

November 28, 2012 5:38 PM He will also win a championship as well. Not next season, but he will. It's not a matter of if, but when.

Maybe it's just me BUT as a Rossi fan I am very wary of this kid. I'm kinda hoping (actually full on hoping...) that Rossi has another couple of titles in him yet and also that the Monza Rally result is a sign of things to come. So whilst I'm not saying MM will win next years title, I'm certain he will win races but the thought that he could stand in the way of Rossi winning another one himself (shudder...) Also I think MM learnt a hell of a lesson in life at the end of last season, imagine being a world champ rider with serious vision problems, imagine too taking back to back titles in 2 different classes, how many times has that been done? (not talking engine capacity change) The moto2 title was his, Bradl only won because MM couldn't race. Also remember that racing is FAN based, without them there is no income and without that

And without that there is no series, I love bike racing, so superior to the 4 wheeled yawn...

cedric just going by suggested qualification times and actual qualification times(Rea qualified 8th) on a bike with completely dissimilar spec with less track time, hence my comments. Facts are facts like it or not hence keep your dumb a-- ignorant comments to yourself.

so myke who will win a race first next year? marquez or rossi? its a matter of can marquez get up to speed on a motogp bike vs rossi getting reaquainted with the yamaha . should be much quicker for rossi seeing as he's the "goat", so for you he will win first right?

MM is obviously uber talented. The thing that is most impressive is he is always competitive. So he must be able to ride around set up issues.
I know he weighs as much as a packet of biscuits but he is maxing the bike and stuff every time.
I really do not like his arrogance on track and think he will hurt sombody bad before long. If is VR he better hide very well. But then he is small , shouldn't be too hard to do.
