in the first two days of testing alvaro bautista wasnt happy with the progress with shows suspension but suddenly on third day gresini choose to stay with showa..it seems like this is done to please HRC .....surely in 2012 alvaro bautista was the most under-rated rider...now once again he needs to work hard also do this alone ....

I'd be curious to see how he'd do with an Ohlins equipped bike. The guy rides the nuts off that thing, and I'm not sure if it's his style, the suspension, or a combo of both, but his bike has looked all out of shape in a few races.

@Vijay da parmar

you'd better go see Shuihe Nakamoto and ask yourself what drama he'd been putting on stage the season just ended.
I think he would say 'it costed our rider championship' as an answer.LOL

Bautista didn't want Showa anymore. It's 100% HRC orders. Bikes with different material help Honda to get more feedback and different data to develop their bike.

Nonetheless Olhins are the best suspensions without a doubt. I thought Bautista deserved better.

Killa.

probably because its two differnt series with different bikes, and different style of bikes.

The technology different to suit two different styles and just because 1 works doesn't mean the other will.

Thats presuming there's even an inherent problem with them in motoGP. could easily come down to not suiting rider style or Struggling to make it work on a particular bike.

showa is Honda suspension. that's why they wish to use it. every showa bike on the motogp grid has always failed. Honda want it to work but I don't get why they only have one. Honda wish to have their suspension in the lime light but everyone else has ohlins. I guess they just like having the name there so everyone goes ohh they use showa in motogp. It must be okay. I'll buy it it for my track/ road bike. if they were serious gresini would have to hrc's clad with showa not one. bautista has been sold the duff egg.

stoner and depuinet ( a rider I rate) had the same when michelens ruled and the bridgestone fronts tucked (ironic). both called crashers but they had different rubber to the rest of the field. stoner Wc later depuinet was awesome on that lcr, crashed but was fast.

This decision has got nothing to do with Honda, HRC or Nakamoto. This decision is all about Fausto Gresini being greedy, more interested in the money left in his pocket than the performance of his rider. Showa - desperate to stay in this business - gives him material for free. Ohlins - supplying the rest of the field - could not care less about such a deal. Go figure...!

You could tell by Bautista's mood that he is stuck with a **** pile. Imagine having a rookie come to the best bike on the paddock and you can't even touch him because of the crappy front? Low pay, crap forks and a long year of risk ahead to make his name strong. Gresini is the only game in town for him right now or he'd be long gone.
