This should be an eye opener in more ways than one. If ducati is running at slower pace than WSBK than they still need lots of work. Likewise, it looks like the performance gap between WSBK and MOTOGP has decreased drastically. There shouldn't be any reason why CRT bikes can't be competitive in GP if WSBK are running just a few hundred's off the posted track record set by a factory GP bike. Just saying..

Stoner did do it on the Ducati, but this just proves again how bad the MotoGP Ducati bikes are! Stoner did risk everything to get results on the Ducati, but by doing that he also visited the "kitty litter" quite often as well. The Ducati bike is rubbish!! :p

yamaham1FAN - No reason at all apart from the fact that the CRT engines have to complete many times the mileage before they can be changed so they can't run anything near the same state of tune.

These times are not comparable. You cannot compare the last day of testing of the WSBK guys with the first day of testing of MotoGP. If they started testing on the same day, things would be different. Still, the results are surprising.
