"There was cheating going on inside Moto2 this year. We were not one of those teams and we suffered for it" - Bradley Smith.

And can you please substantiate where I have 'accused everyone of cheating'?
Here is my comment 'And yes, SOME teams will cross them to get an advantage'. 'SOME'

I suggest you read and take in what is written before you accuse someone of being 'ignorant'!!

It seems after a few replies on this thread there is only one person that has been 'ignorant' as well as blind for over 50 years as a fan.

Anyone know how the cheating/bending the rules was being done???

I heard the quickshifter story, that marquez and others were changing how the quickshifter cut the ignition between gear shifts to get better acceleration, but other people seemed to rubbish that idea... - Unregistered

I think he might be right somewhat. But it is not his job to accuse so bluntly. He should just prove himself first before talking big. I think he is moaning particularly about marc. But marc has been fast within just 30- laps. I think he will have to be under .6 secs of marc in the sepang test and have to match innanone if not better him in the championship standings by the end of the year to be even be close to raising a finger. Otherwise fingers will be raised at him.

"There was cheating going on inside Moto2 this year. We were not one of those teams and we suffered for it"

"It wasn't just Marquez, it was going on with a lot of riders."

Well, there's an old saying - if you can't beat em, join em.

Some people are misreading the Marquez comment. Smith says that it wasn't just Marquez it was lots of riders.

He makes clear that marquez should not be singled out.

So he's almost defending Marquez by saying MM did not have some special advantage that no-one else in Moto2 had this year.

Instead it was a case that all the rich teams could buy the aftermarket parts/assistance that allowed them to bend the rules and the others teams could not.

interesting. I think this is the first Brad related Crash article where there are more agree/disagrees in favour of Brad than against him. It seems as we get closer to Brad actually riding a MotoGP bike that folks are realising what his potential is. Or is it just the haters not getting involved out of season?

You're sounding like a whiny **** Bradley.

The fact is, you will be on a satellite team for a couple of years. Then Poncharal and company will see what many of us already know, that you aren't worthy of that ride, you will lose it, move to a CRT, then make your way to WSBK, with perhaps more success than the likes of Toseland.

Work ethic alone does not a GP ride justify. Like another said, Bradley Smith getting this highly sought after ride over MANY MANY other more qualified, talented riders (with JUST AS MUCH work ethic) is the biggest cheat to GP, and to us fans.

Just to add my thoughts to this (my) Q&A. Remember Bradley could've been in MotoGP this year, but he wanted another year on the Moto2 to develop/have a go at getting some wins under his belt and to get even more experience on a heavier 610 mistral - a selfish and wise decision, we shall see how he does on the bike in January, if you check the video link in the 1st comment for this interview, I nudged him about MM, so you should blame/thank me for that really. Calm down everyone!

Could never understand that whenever Marquez threw the bike down the road it had a cover on it within a few mins.

In a class where all bikes are supposed to be similar what were they hiding ?

The truth is out there
