Some people says "curse". Don't be stupid! The news says:
"One possibility is that the 26-year-old tweaked his neck during last weekend's Monza Rally Show appearance, but Dovi revealed the problem first occured during October's Sepang round."
I hope everyone writes positive comment...

Bad luck for Dovi - he really needs some time in the seat of his new bike. Bad luck for us fans too, as we wanted to see how he went on the thing.
I'd like to see Dovi and Nicky go well - if nothing else just to add some small element of competition to a pitiful situation.
On the other hand, all the cret1nous posts we'll have to endure about 'Rossi Developed, all hail Rossi' if the Dukes go well will be the downside of any Ducati progress towards the front. I'll say it now ok? - If Dovi does well, its down to Dovi. If Rossi could have taken the Duke fwd to his own advantage, he would've done so already.

@TalentFan....As a fan of Dovi I want him to do well, and I think he will. According to Nicky the present bike is a lot better than it was 2 years ago, so I would presume that Rossi & JB achieved some of that. Having said that Dovi is capable of developing a bike. If Ducati listen to him of course.

Codger I pointed out yesterday that in the Jerez race 2 years ago Nicky qualified .3 off and finished 9 seconds behind the winner Yorgi, this years bike is still has likely to throw the rider certainly wastes the tyres more readily and finish further down the grid.Maybe Nicky feels that the bike is better but going by the figures it isn't.

My take on team Ducati this year is,
2 punch drunk Americans
Dovi been there and failed
and I got mi fingers crossed that Andrea is the saving face for Ducati

Its Clear that one rider that is injure will not be able to ride one Motogp so i wish the best to Dovi, but the true is that if he go to THE DOCTOR to have an answer for this probleme all bet that he will say that the problem is Red, have 2 wheels and is Call SUCATI CURSE, the first symptoms is pain on the neck then on the head, if he dont change Team now the problems will be some broken bones and they have one high risk for lactose intolerance.. The sad part is that with all this problems for one rider deal is normal that he can also developed some depressions feelings that will require some psychological Help.. has we can see this red disease is very dangerous and can evolve to bigger problems that can be hard to forget.. I Wish the best but trully recommende that you change Team Dovi

Too many riders as of late(in both MotoGP and WSBK)are being forced into early retirement because they find out thier injury is career ending. In the case of Dovizioso hope this is not the case because it would be a shame if the sport would lose such a great competitor as we have Nakano and Toseland, both whom were forced into retirement due injuries.

Toseland? He was great in SBK but in MotoGP? Not so much. IMHO, his title on the Ten Kate bike was the highlight of his career. No one expected it, and he pulled it out. On the Duc though, it was expected and no one was surprised. There are a great many others who were forced to retire through injury, including one Wayne Rainey, some bloke named Fogarty and some Aussie named Doohan. Those are just some of the famous ones. The not so famous list is far, far longer in both SBK and GPs. Wasn't aware Nakano retired due to injury...I thought his ride just went away and he elected to no continue.
