@bikenut - I thought that
'amassing the most points
possible by the end of the
season' was the idea, although
it's clearly not that simple.
Was it boring?..Perhaps we
should ask Jorge?
Posted by wosi..
yess,Wosi,definetely will.
U could also ask how jubilant Nicky felt once he saw Rossi fall at the last round at Valencia 2006 that he might be thinking how amateur this Rossi was for taking it hot too early instead of being composed for securing required points to outscore himself(NH)to clinch his,Rossi's,next title....Bloody more on!

dave all im saying is you can't call rossi the goat after his stint with ducati. he couldn't adapt to the bike at all. he was just another hayden/melandri/kallio/espargaro/anyone else but stoner on that bike. you can't deny the fact that they were on the same bike either.

and dave also i get that he won a lot of his races between 07-08, but how many times did a different ducati rider win in those years? yeh once with capirossi in 07.. so was only stoners bike superior? and @ pain in the johnson.. when has ducati had a stronger all around team than this year?

For some reason which i cant fathom,some people just cant accept that it was Stoner that made the difference to the Ducati team.Even in 2007 when he was supposed to have his "unfair advantages".he still beat his team mate who was on an identical machine,by nearly 200 points!
Is it a coincidence that noone has achieved anywhere near Stoners success on the Ducati over the year?
No,i dont believe it is.

@Busa Boy
And Lorenzo beat his team mate this year by 262 points on an identical machine, whereas Stoner lost to his team mate by 78 points.
Does that make Lorenzo vastly better than Stoner?
No, I don't believe it does.
