Given the way the weather is going (climate change increases level of moisture in the atmosphere = rain) his wet weather skills may even the balance... Certainly he won't be waving his hand trying to end the race before every man and dog overtake and he sees his WC disappear...

If all riders were to expect to have both a championship winning bike and the talent to win then the grid would probably be empty... so good luck Chris I respect your hopes and enthusiasm and thank you for making up the grid numbers without which we would only have 3 guys racing at best

Would be good to see CV in Moto GP, even though it would be on a CRT bike.

Anyone else thinks he looks like Sheldon from the big bang theory in that pic?

if you define a CRT bike as being a couple of seconds off the pace and perennially running around the back of the pack, then this guy already has alot of experience on a CRT ... AKA the GSV-R!!

Here we go again, Vermeulen's coming back. He failed miserably on his return to WSBK so lets try the crappy CRT class instead. I thought Rossi was way past his sell by date but Vermeulen should be racing old pick up trucks by now!!!

Can't see the point in this at all!! Agree with all the others that think a young rider would have been a far better choice. All Chris Vermeulen has to do is come off and once again, he will probably be out with aggravated injury! Why doesn't he just bite the bullet and pack in!!!
