Very valid points re WSBK wildcards absolute tragedy no longer any wildcard opportunities - I really miss that,maybe Ezpeletas inevitable dumming down of WSBK rules could reverse this?? In relation to "grateful for opportunity" the only reason he is on it is because nobody else wanted it,however I do wish him all the best, his wages/bribe will no doubt be better than he would have earnt in UK.

I can't help but think this is a wasted year (or 2) for him. He's left a thriving championship where he was challenging for race wins on a near factory team to what is essentially a test role for a back of the field CRT ride.
I understand the lure of the world stage and possibley the money involved etc but there will be no progression and chances are you'll be back in BSB once the contract is over.
CRT is great for up and coming riders from Moto2 etc but to come from BSB to this seems like a bad move?
