MotoGP » Rossi: Stoner 'started to hate me' after Laguna 2008

“Stoner started to hate me just because he lost. After that, he always seemed to talk about the past, this race [Laguna], because he wasn't man enough to understand that at that time, he lost!” – Valentino Rossi.

Finally. Something had to be said. Stoner's been a cry baby since day one. Never heard any racer complain about everything as much as Stoner does. Sure is an incredible racer. But, he is nowhere near the champion Rossi is. How many titles Stoner won - 2? Rossi - 7? How many fans has Rossi brought to motorcycle racing compared to Stoner? What has he done for the sport? How many years has Rossi been competitive vs Stoner. And he is still racing and I hope competing is strong form in 2013.

Stoner is and always WILL BE the most UNsportsmanlike whiny little bitch of a racer.. He's a SORE LOSER in every sense of the word and MotoGP is better off without his crybaby drama queen rants about EVERYTHING in the world of Grand Prix Bike racing .. After that Laguna Seca race he REFUSED to shake ROSSI's HAND like a spoiled brat who got SPANKED on the playground!!! It's not only Rossi who he's disrespected in the paddock .. It's everybody he comes in contact with!! No WONDER the fans BOO his ass when he's on stage.. No autographs, no personality, no CLASS WHATSOEVER .. He talks so much **** his eyes SHOULD be brown because he's FULL OF IT!!! His absence next year will be like a breath of FRESH AIR because his quitting and going home will allow a NEW EXCITING STAR in the form of Marquez to emerge.. Thank God he PUSSIED OUT and bailed.. GOOD RIDDANCE !!!!

@victor in Los Angeles, CA USA .
how many years has vale been competitive compared to stoner!! , well thats easy enough , stoner was competitive every single year in gp , even on the low budget lcr.
i find it humouring that vale throws out these claims now that he don't have to face stoner on the grid!!
@ Armando Sarmiento.
thats one of the most disturbing moaning rants ive ever read!! , sounds way like a spoiled little brat screaming for comfort.
as for stoner hating vale!! , he also hated carmello as much because of the constant eye he always has on vale to keep him happy and on top , laguna 08 just sealed the deal for stoner that those two will never make it into his happy thoughts.
thats my opinion , and i have a strong feeling stoner will add as much into his book in time.

Stoner insulted the GP community as a whole( including the fans) when he left under these circumstances. Now it's time for Rossi and anybody else who loves racing and cherishes the battles between the worlds top riders to say what they feel about Stoner. Many people disliked Stoner before he quit, now his coffin will be nailed firmly shut.

Say what you want about Rossi, at least he's not a goddamned quitter.

if you seen the race you would understand that stoner took some corners wide because vale was simply passing him on them and going wide was giving him a chance to try swing inside vale again by getting on the gas quicker , the duke was a dud in corners compared to the yamaha , vale himself has been explaining the dukes cornering for two years.

It had been a truly epic display of racing talent, but when Rossi attempted to shake hands with Stoner in parc ferme immediately afterwards, an angry Stoner refused.

A smiling Rossi responded by patting Stoner on the back and saying "this is racing Casey."

"Oh this is racing?" replied Stoner. "Okay, we'll see..."
