MotoGP » Rossi: Stoner 'started to hate me' after Laguna 2008

“Stoner started to hate me just because he lost. After that, he always seemed to talk about the past, this race [Laguna], because he wasn't man enough to understand that at that time, he lost!” – Valentino Rossi.

Why does everyone forget what a nightmare it is to be on the track with Stoner? Someone ahead of him in practice is holding him up, someone behind him is following him too closely- and lets not forget that he punched someone on the track.

Why and how does anybody like this guy? He's such a bitter man, absolutely nothing to enjoy about his personality, and it takes away what talent he has.

Now how many titles and wins did Stoner win for Ducati??
Then you look at Rossis result with the same factory???
In my opinion to take the Ducati to a race win is like a Championship in itself, ask Rossi, he worked harder for no wins at Ducati than he ever did at Yamaha or Honda for World Champs, so who is the legend??

Stoner did not hate Rossi he just did not have any respect for him, and that bugged Rossi and still does, and after what Vale said about Stoner on the Ducati and then riding it, Rossi have started to gain respect for Stoner and praising him, but Stoner still thought Vale was a ****** and this buggs Rossi even more:)

Rossi the exposed fraud, nine titles. Stoner the fastest, two titles. I dont get it, surely being the fastest and being the only rider with the ability to ride around any bike's problems would have won 13 championships in 13 years. Why only two? Who's the fraud again?

Typical Rossi PR machine.
If it works push it as far as it can go
If it backfires, like this comment has not only here but on lots of online forums, then it never happened.

It was the same last year when he blamed his height for not being able to get the results like Stoner.

@ Tax Dodger
You are correct Rossi is NOT popular in the pits due to the weight he carrys and how he is treated differenty to others but even though I tottally disagree with those actions, cheers to him for working the system to his advantage, hell he even got Spies kicked out

I Know people connected to MotoGP and am told there was /is much more respect for Stoner in the pits than rossi, it's just that he holds so much power within Dorna that no one dares say anything against him,and I believe it.
