MotoGP » Rossi: Stoner 'started to hate me' after Laguna 2008

“Stoner started to hate me just because he lost. After that, he always seemed to talk about the past, this race [Laguna], because he wasn't man enough to understand that at that time, he lost!” – Valentino Rossi.

See Rossi isn't slow in bashing Stoner now he's not here. Pity you couldn't beat him on a racetrack without a HUGE advantage. Think you should shut up, apologise for your luck at the corkscrew when you you lost control and swerved in Stoner and admit that his brilliance on the Ducati is unmatched. Your more popular but he won 50 per cent more races on works bikes. Get over it Rossi!

Rossi is totaly right!! Stoner never had spirit like Rossi to take this game, he was many times angry with him angry with the macheniks, angry with media, angry with everybody when thinghs have gone wrong.. This new guys start to complain about everythingh including the way the fights where done.. When they win is all nice but when they loss was dangerous!! Rossi come race to Motogp because is father saw is passion for the bikes and just teach him how the game is done and how he could enjoy the game... Stoner come to racing with other stuff in mind he had allways is famaly on is back like saying you have to be good Professional responsible etc Stoner never enjoy the racing live like Rossi enjoy and thats way Stoner is leaving now he dont need Money now he allready have what he whanted and can pay to his famaly the efforted they made.. Now that he have money and made a name he can live Alone!! I think that Stoner will not regrat is decision because he will allways live with bikes now h

And remember as we type and discuss that rossi is and always will be a far superior rider than stoner ever was , please spare a thought for caseys fans. They're still sat there down at turn 3 freezing there nuts off, crying into there beers, waving there stoner is a legend flags, there toupe's gently flapping in the phillip island breeze still not quite believing that Casey has left them for v8's.
Have they no shame.

The only good thing for me in 2013 in motogp is I don't have to replace the battery's in my remote so much I won't have to press mute every time stoner talks

Why would any racer like any other racer? Sorry, I don't get any of this. Stoner should hate Rossi and every other racer out there and likewise the others. Stoner should be a bad loser, losing sucks. So one rider made a hard pass on another which pissed them off. Wow, that's never happened before! Most racers I know don't live in the past. Race fans however, that's another matter. Having said all that, I'm willing to bet Stoner quickly moved on and never dwelt on Laguna. Stoner lost respect for Rossi after Laguna, that's different. I think Stoner hated Rossi because he's a rich boy that was given all the best opportunity's, while Stoner, a 14 year old boy had to win to pay back his parents for betting the farm on his success.

i am dissappointed in Rossi bringing this up after Stoner has left.Unnecessary in my opinion. At least say it to Stoners face. You know Stoner would have said it to Rossis.
