MotoGP » Rossi: Stoner 'started to hate me' after Laguna 2008

“Stoner started to hate me just because he lost. After that, he always seemed to talk about the past, this race [Laguna], because he wasn't man enough to understand that at that time, he lost!” – Valentino Rossi.

Anyone can overtake anyone else if you take a short cut by riding off the track and cutting the corner. He tried to overtake Stoner, left his braking too late couldn't make the corner and straight-lined it off track on the dirt. Tracks are tarmaced for a reason and track limits are made clear for a reason. Stoner is probably spitting chips still because Rossi didn't concede the place back (and overtake properly later) or the stewards didn't penalise Rossi for making it a shorter race distance.

Wow is Rossi really that upset because he has just realised that not everyone on the planet likes him ? Sadly I think he will be like Capirex and Schwantz, unable to live a life out of the limelight and adulation of the GP paddock. Sad really

How many races have you seen in your life you comedian?!! Have you ever sat on any bike? :))))) This topic has been on the table too many times and of course Stoner boys need to defend their boy. In fact the article tells nothing more than what is (has been) evident!

Stoner didn't lose because of The Corkscrew Pass, he lost because he ran off at turn 11 with plenty of laps to go.

He entered the turn hot and ran up to Rossi's bike so he stood the bike up and went into the grass.

If he had kept the bike on the track he most likely would have won and nobody would care about The Pass.

It was Casey's fault, but he was a great rider that's just a fact.
