@The haters

Does that mean Rossi quit Ducati because he was frustrated and couldn't win or did he retire from Ducati.

I don't mean to use Rossi as an example but some of his fans that post hate messages are over the top. I respect stoner even more for leaving at the top of his game and doing what is best or him and his family. I will miss this talent on two wheels but we move on. Look forward to motogp 2013.

"he will quit V8's when he realizes he can't hang with the four wheeled crowd either."...

Say what now? A two-time champion somehow didn't cut in MotoGP? Just how did you get to that conclusion?

Wayne Gardner did very well in V8 Supercars. He ended up the Holden Dealer Team which at the time was the best team by a mile. He came 3rd at Bathurst, got pole at Bathurst and won the first ever V8 Supercar race after they ditched the Group A regulations. He was no slouch but often forgot that cars are wider than bikes. Hence the "Captain Chaos" nickname.

Stoner has not beaten Rossi on equal machinery!

You are right mate,Stoner beat Rossi on INFERIOR machinery!
Can you imagine what he would have done to him if they had been team mates.Stoner would have crushed him.And Rossi knows it.Why do you think he blocked Stoner from joining Yamaha years ago?
Why do you think he wanted Lorenzo out of Yamaha too?
Rossi doesnt like a team mate that is better than he is.But now he has no choice.He is back at Yamaha and is playing second fiddle to Lorenzo.How humiliating can it get.No way would Stoner have done that.He would rather retire than have to go crawling back to his old team cap in hand and tail between his legs.
