Prediction for next year's opening round at Qatar. Lorenzo finishes first. Pedrosa finishes second. Rossi finishes third. Wow, that was hard.

Despite all the Honda money, Showa isn't as good as Ohlins suspension and teams prefer Brembo brakes to Nissin. The ubiquitous twin spar aluminium frame was designed and introduced by Kobas, then copied by all the Japanese factories, so that many MotoGP neophytes actually think it was a Japanese innovation. There would be no shortage of high spec technological competition without Japanese factory involvement. As has been pointed out, much of their R&D work is simply aimed at fuel economy. Will the next change HRC demands be for it to become an all electric series, seeing as they think the sole purpose of racing is to benefit their R&D? Shuhei Nakamoto recently stated that HRC has no interest at all in whether MotoGP provides any entertainment and the path they've pushed the sport down demonstrates he wasn't kidding.

I thought the last race of the season was brilliant entertainment, seeing Rossi being lapped was priceless !!!!! Pedrosa rode superbly , as did Stoner , and the Japanese wild card (forgot his name ?) coming third , I have not seen a better race in years !!!

The bikes have become way too sophisticated.
Its hard to control or take technology away, i'm all for Dorna trying to make like harder for the manufacturers.
Cutting fuel allowance is a good way.

I would like to see factory bikes given more weight limit than privateer bikes.

Non factory bikes should at least have a shot at winning a race like before.

Been watching since the early 70s, it was no better then and the same goes for all the years inbetween then and now.

I enjoyed the spectacle this year again. I picked Yorgi in the off season it was nice to see him come with all guns blazing.repsol got there head round the bikes probs and Dani came good,Stoner hacked it unfortunatley but hey.Dovi showed how good the yammy was and Cal hung it all out trying to beat him,Bradl n Alvaro stuck it in there. The battles atween CRTs Espagaro and RdP and for me a brit Jimmy shutting team ******* up:)
And it was also good to see 3 champions humbled by less, Rossi Nicky and Ducati.

If ye want to see a race where all the competiters cross the line within a second of each other watch the 100 meter sprint but for sure you'll be seeing the same guy win race after race

Even in the Rossi domination years there was exciting moments like the Gibernau rivalry and the occasional surprise results. Nowadays there's no chance that there would be a surprise winner or a CRT bike making the podium. Results are directly attributed to money and computers.

Also the destruction of the Assen Circuit hasn't helped either, because the calendar itself contains the same old boring circuits.

I say reduce or eliminate the electronics, increase the fuel allowance, bring back multi tire manufactures and allow factories to supply real engines to CRT's. If they need to slow down WSB's to keep MGP faster, that's fine. I care about close racing , sliding, passing and having more than a couple guys dominating. The spectacle went away when the 800's began. Dorna, do what needs to be done and quit bowing down to Honda before the fans leave for good. WSB, BSB, even the AMA is much more exciting and that aint right! Call Honda's bluff before it's too late!!!!
