the best race of the season was the final race, the 2nd was the french when rossi proved he still hasn't lost it... so my point is we need rain to make motogp exciting,
or motogp can ask pirelli to make unpredcitable tyres for bikes too...

but rossi moving to yamaha for next year, should make it much more exciting next year nevertheless...

Since when was Formula 1 entertaining ? Races won by pit strategies are not entertaining. The situation has improved lately with the extra boost allowing some overtaking but generally F1 is boring.

I am surprised at how low these scores are. There have been a couple of good races. I guess a lot of Americans vote and since they have no one with a hope of winning they will vote lower. Hayden and Edwards should have been ditched long ago to allow other riders a chance.

I am looking forward to Marky moving up. He makes some wild moves like Simoncelli did but he has the skill to pull them off.

I don't see good things for Rossi. Dovisioso is closer to the leaders on his first ride than Rossi was all year. I am not sure why Rossi should be better on a Yamaha. Still he is better than Hayden, Edwards and Spies.

I agree that moto2/3 would almost certainly have scored higher as they are more entertaining to watch

MotoGp needs a big kick in the **** and a more competitive field

Yes I agree with your post I also have been watching motorcycle racing since the late 60's some of the most interesting things were then was what bone was bazza Going to break this weekend!! In motorcycle racing there were only ever the occasional race that was a dog fight to the end Yes Sheene and Roberts there has always been Issues over factory invovlement Honda with drew in 1968 Suzuki withdrew in or around 1986 what is happening now is nothing New only the way it is being dealt with Any true Race Fan would not buy this Stoner/Rossi Rubbish as they are both incredible racers on the right machine ......It is obvious that the young are into this personality rubbish these Guys are not movie Stars they Are racers how far can they hang the bike out and not crash ......I enjoy the skill

Yes it is fantastic when there is a very close duel to the end Yet how often has that ever happened

Usually the front rider cleared off Many times never to be challenged

If you want to see close racing not even moto2 offers that all the time it was usually the domain of 125 now moto3

Nothing is perfect the great thing when a close duel for the lead does happen it is worth the wait

In todays Racing the skill of the Aliens Now only two (not sure about Rossi Now) usually puts them out front AS dovi,Ben and simoncelli proved being on a factory bike does not automatically mean much Because the Aliens where a Class above especially the last two years.... I feel Sad that Racing is now seen as a personality Contest........this world certainly has failed its youth!!!!

@Alex

Mate, F1 actually is very interesting these days. I agree they've kind of made some rules up that wouldnt suit the purest racing fan, but in general the races have been very, very entertaining.
Lots of close racing and different winners. Not much won via the pits either.

It breaks my heart as I used to always laugh at F1 compared to MotoGP, but the tables have been fully turned.

Dorna have caused the low entertainment level of our pinnacle class!
I have said many times, the regs they imposed to tick the green boxes etc have cost us the sport!
With no traction control/anti wheelie electrics and as much fuel as a team wants to run(over a twenty one litre weight limit) and any make and compound of tyre we would get racing back,it's as simple as that.
I have watched gp now for longer than I care to remember and the last five years were the absolute dullest, made worse by the fact that they followed a period of some of the best racing, with some of the most engaging riders,Edwards, capirossi, abe,Rossi, criville, gibernau, etc etc and those guys actually raced mostly till the last few corners and the race was won on track by the rider who could get the best out of the bike!
Now we get crap bikes, crap regs and mostly dull riders, worst of all is it ain't likely to change for the better
