You are so right about Rossi wins and being his number one fan on here you would be the one to answer this question for me.

Why since Stoner came into Motogp did Rossi stop winning at Phillip Island?
I mean, other than for two years Rossi had the best gear, best bike, best crew, he's the goat and all that. Yet he could never beat Stoner which you have always claim cracks under pressure, mentally weak and not in Rossi level.

Be great if you could answer that one for us all

Thing that always makes me chuckle in the whole Stoner vs Rossi debate, is that whichever side your on, one is always the best, and the other total rubbish! Motogp, and bike racing in general is not like that, let's not turn it into football!! I have watched racing for 36 of my 40 years, and i remember a time when all riders were great, and all fans went home happy, whoever won on the day. It is still like that for me now, as long as the racing is good, thats all that really matters

Stoner holds the circuit best lap at 128.665. He blew away Nicky's lap record repeatedly in practice doing consistent 129s but had no need to in the race. But to say Stoner is not the king of Philip Island is to demonstrate your ignorance of the sport. Since he's been on a factory bike in MotoGP he's lead every lap bar 2 going back to 2007. Thats 160 laps he's lead vs 2 the rest have managed!

December 14, 2012 1:41 PM sir should not be on Crash as you clearly have an ounce of intelligence and do not wave Rossi or Stoner underpants!!! lol

I totally agree fella, my first gp was in 87 and most recent was last year, and the on true consistency was 80 guys from 15 to 40 all putting the necks on the line to entertain me and 80,000 other bike nuts.....not just rossi or stoner or lorenzo or pedrosa, but Pol and Bautista and Oliveira and and and the list could go on ......bless the ickle fan boys even turned tarmac story into a handbag fight lol

@Eddies too fast

here's your answer.

because Rossi in not on his peak when casey came to motogp. we coudn't compare them two cause age does matter. compare them in their same age.

you cannot say that there's no competition on rossi's peak years cause that is the highest competition on that year.

get it?

ask stoner to ride a motogp bike when his 30yrs+ old. then lets compare them again.

Wake up and smell the newly laid tarmac. Put Rossi on a 2012 factory Honda and Stoner on a Pramac Ducati and Stoner would STILL own the island! Just like Stoner owns Qatar. Understand?

"I don't really give a **** about the Rossi v. Stoner argument you girls perpetually have.

6 wins in a row at PI pretty much does all the talking Stoner needs to do on the subject." by Grumy Ol' Man

You don't care about the argument, yet you contribute to it? Mind. Blown.

IMO - Stoner owns P.I.

Also, I will be riding the track in a few weeks, so I can test just how smooth this resurfacing really is. =P
