He sounds very honest, more or less says they had the best bike and has only judged himself against his teammate. Hope he has more competition in 2013.

Aleix commends the ART chassis...

Considering this is the first year for CRT and the Aprilia is based on a chassis made for Pirelli this is great news. Next years bike will be even better (i.e. closer to the prototypes) and I bet if they could use a WSBK spec motor they'd be seriously competitive.

Remember the tests a few weeks back with Laverty on WSBK on the same pace as Hayden? The ART has that potential.

Throughout last year I couldn't help but notice how confident Randy and Aleix looked into corners & on the brakes.. Now we have proof.. They have an awesome chassis.. I'm sure its head & shoulders above the Ducati.. I remember Vale & Nicky having trouble taking the ART guys in the corners.. I imagine it to be like a Yamaha. As 'Jon M' said, if they find a motor that is powerful enough, while keeping the agility, these bikes can really be there.

A few years ago (not many, Spanish championship race. Aleix takes out a private rider, doesn t even care to apologize. After the race , race director calls him and tells him he ll get sanctioned, the rider arrogantly asks him "don t you know who i am?" and the RD answers "yes, you re the guy who won t be starting the next race" Sportsmanship award? JOKE.

sloppyfngz: even if that was truth, which I don't know, if it happened few years ago and this year he has been kind sportman... he deserve the prize.

People change and mature. if you don't give the opportunity of change, or the prize for changing...
