First read this story and I too thought immediately about McCoy
Just to see him come round Coppice at Donington, flat-out at 30 degrees to the direction of travel, with the wheel still spinning by the time he went under the bridge - dont just bring back two strokes, bring back Dunlops too!

youtube is crammed with stoner sliding vids from over the years.
testament to how often he slides at most tracks over the years.
mccoy slid a lot but mostly time consuming spectator snacks mid pack.

No surprise having Stoner with the most slides. That is his style. And, probably, the rider with the most spectacular style during 2012. Which also suited the Ducati. I don't take anything away from Stoner and don't doubt he has talent. However, I also don't confuse gritish style with talent. Lorenzo and Rossi in his heyday didn't have less talent. But, yeah, Stoner provides better pictures.
