@ CRT - I reckon its fair enough for prof-x to go all 'conspiracy theory' about Marquez. After all, the guy got away with FAR more than he should've in Moto2, the class rules stayed ideally suited to him throughout.

Given the (lets put it kindly) 'pre-determined' beast that is MotoGP, & the lack of initiatives to make the series fair & genuinely competitive in depth, then its a fair point IMO. Marquez has a LOT of backing, is a factory HRC rider & also Spanish.

Marquez has enjoyed 'Rossi-esque' levels of support and backing in his career as well as Rossi-esque apparent immunity to penalties for transgressions. When looked at like that, then its not unreasonable to wonder if MM isn't being 'manufactured' to be the new Rossi? MM has talent for sure, but (again like Rossi) he's enjoyed the best kit and every possible advantage so far.

Its a fair guess that

Its a fair guess that... seeing as MotoGP cannot be called a remotely fair or remotely competitive series (hence MotoGP doesn't really qualify to be called 'Racing'anymore) to EXPECT manipulation to be the norm?

Simply put... if professor-x turns out to be right (in that somehow Marquez seems to get all the breaks & manages to be treated somehow 'more equally than others') then I for one won't be the least bit surprised.

MotoGP has fantastic riding talent, some of the best venues to race at & much more besides. But lets not kid ourselves that its a good race series. I'll watch next season to see what happens, but without any expectation of good competition and races and without any expectation of any real passion.

If you want RACING then 2013 is about Moto2, Moto3, WSBK, WSS, BSB. If you want politics and soap-opera antics then its MotoGP I think.
