I quite enjoy reading all these comments...you do realise it is not about the statistics don't you?...its about who is popular...i didn't check to see if Dovi finished higher up than Fred Bloggs!!...and having spoken to a marshall when Cal was going through THAT medical...he would get my vote for simply riding the bike...also its about poularity...and trust me when Vale retires it will be a sad day..whoever you support..

@Hemmy

Rossi got alot of support last season, virtually nothing. You wouldnt even be able to name me one major update Ducati did during this season, in comparison to the likes of Honda who built a new bike midseason.

Check out this from only the 17th December, no one on it from 5th to 10th in the rider of the year vote so far (maybe Lorenzo and Nakasuga will miss out???):-

Rider of the Day poll winners - 2012 season:

Casey Stoner 5
Dani Pedrosa 5
Cal Crutchlow 3
Valentino Rossi 3
Jorge Lorenzo 1
Katsuyuki Nakasuga 1

Rossi won't/can't be in the top 10 as he is not a racer. Any1 watching the last 2 years knows that. (but he does like lots of $$$ :D )

Spies - What happened? he was looking forward to the 1000's.. something bad going on in his team? He had a big accident in pre season I heard (but didnt see.. any further info on that?)
