Dont forget to thank Bridgestone for all the extra chatter they gave to Ducati and Honda. Rock on Cal, dont get a fat head like Lorenzo though, otherwise you might grow a handbag.

A well deserved 4th place for Cal. Good to see common sense come through in this case.

Other than the top 3 which are in a league of their own, Cal was without doubt the next fastest rider, without question. Anyone who genuinely thinks otherwise is simply a bitter fan of another rider.

Yes he did have a few crashes, but lets not forget that he's only in his second year and had zero GP experience beforehand, unlike many others who usually have at least a few wild card rides under their belt. Cal had none of that, so to challenge for podiums on a satellite bike is remarkable.

The few crahses he had towards the end were what slipped him down the championship. It wasnt the performances of the the guys who beat him in the standings that got better, it was his own crashes that slipped him down the order.

I personally have Dovi and Cal at about the same level, i think i gavce them both a 7 or 8. Yes Dovi had a few more podiums which he deserves credit for, and beat him in the standing

........beat him in the standings, but Cal also gains alot of credit for being in just his second year with little experience in comparison, whilst being consistently quicker than Dovi. We all know how the saying goes. Thats why he deserves a solid 4th.

Well done Cal.

Not that the riders get prizes for this poll lol, but it does show that the bulk of the fans on this site do actually have common sense afterall.

Although im sure, as with any rider (more so with Rossi im sure) that some gave Cal a 10, and some gave him a 1.

However it does say alot that Rossi is out of the top 10. Despite his few hard core yellow fans giving him a 10, it wasnt enough to prevail against common sense.

2 agree.
At last some sense from MotoGP fans Top 3 has to be between Pedrosa, Lorenzo and Stoner, no rossi in the top ten how it should be.

...firstly, we dont know the top three so you may have jumped the gun (who knows).

...secondly, for entertainment only, I would agree with you.

...thirdly, for performance only, I do believe that rossi finished ahead of Cal in the standings on a less competitive package (or as a less competitive rider depending on your view point)...

For me he deserves it purely for the improvement he made from last season. Dovi did better, but started from a higher base and came from the MotoGP system. Cal on the other hand came from WSBK and experienced the usual frightening learning curve that WSBK riders hit when coming into MotoGP. For me he dug deep and is now a front running MotoGP rider, which is about as good as you can get. I'm expecting podiums next season, minimum.

OPS! I do not buy this, we know all about crashnet, but the rest of the world know who the best riders out there, even if you rank Cal as no. 1, well who cares, and remember that you are who you are in this world. We are not blind, it's a shame
