Bit of a silly comment dont you think? What makes you think Rossi won't beat both satellite Yamahas next year when he beat Crutchlow this year. Smith is even worth taking about.

All this so called poll shows just one thing, how utterly predictable motogp has become.

To remedee this Dorna should put all the riders on the same prototype bike and call it moto 1, with no rider advantage, then we get to see some proper racing. If they had done that 10 years back rossi would probably have 15 world championships by now.

I am a pom but can't see Cal being higher than Dovi.
Mind you, I don't know what the criteria was in voting. To me Dovi rode better all year than Cal. Ok Cal was exciting to watch in trying to beat Dovi but didn'manage it too often.

To the haters speculating on Rossi's position in this poll I respectfully remind you that, by your logic, Rossi should be above Nicky. Seeing that Hayden got in there due to 'trying hard', then Rossi should be in there due to beating Nicky by 'NOT Trying'.

I personally, if I could be assed to vote, would have put Rossi no higher than 6th.

Jorge, Casey and Dani are surely "in front of" Valentino. I cannot believe that any of the first three would not make it in the top 10. Jorge is WC. Dani had an incredible final end and Casey is an awesome rider to watch even if he screwed it up at the end he is unavoidable.

Rossi is surely 11th...I don't know if he deserves that, but then again I don't think Cal deserves to be 4th either...

I guess like the spanish effect people talk about, there is a british effect too...
