One thing is for sure, Casey is retired yes, but it plainly obvious that he generates more responce both good and bad than any other rider, it's here for all to see, whilst he wasn't everyone's cup of tea, he will be remembered for being a rider with a god given talent that we might not see for a very long time.

I assume that KC is an illiterate way of refering to Casey.

But ill answer your question as to who Casey Stoner is, or KC if you prefer.

Casey Stoner is the most successful Moto GP rider of the modern era.
Casey Stoner has beaten every single rider who he has raced against.
Casey Stoner has beaten every single rider he has been up against, more than they have beaten him.
Casey Stoner has beaten Rossi more than Rossi has beaten him.
Casey Stoner has won on every single factory bike he has ridden, including the worst factory bike on the grid.
Casey Stoner has been given Legend Status whether you like it or not.
Casey Stoner has beaten Rossi on the track in every which way possible.

So there you have it. During Casey Stoner Moto GP career, not one single rider has acheived more than him. Casey Stoner has beaten them all over his while Moto GP career. There is not one other rider on the grid today who can say the same.

So just in case you still dont get it, THATS who Casey stoner is

AussieNSW...John Surtees was the rider that I first became a fan of. Mike usurped him in my mind and is my favourite of all eras. Having said that, I am convinced that Mike would have made it in the present era, and I'm just as sure that Casey, Dani, Jorge, and yes, Rossi would have made it in Mike's era.

Ago was great, but unfortunately, even greater in his own mind.

@truth
If you genuinely believe that legend status is not about talent but about what fans make of you, then it sounds like you're talking about popularity contests. In which case, you are watching the wrong sport.

@ Stavros "LOL!! You want to talk about 'conveniently forgetting' facts and you come out with this tripe.. the two tracks you cite Rossi being faster than Stoner on the Ducati both had exceptional circumstances. At Le Mans Stoner only completed 2 laps of the race! And Mugello was resurfaced for 2011 so everybody was over a second faster than the year before for everybody! Are they the best examples you can find to back your hypothesis that Rossi was faster than Stoner on the 800cc Duc?! Stoner SLAUGHTERED Rossi on race times and lap times on the 800 Ducati and was actually faster than Rossi was on the 1000cc Ducati at most trac"

What I said was "as fast or faster". Let's look at the average race speeds (Stoner 2010/Rossi 2011):

Qatar 322.3/324.0
Estoril 301.1/322.8
Le Mans 266.0/287.6
Catalunya 324.7/324.4
Assen 306.8/297.8
Mugello 336.3/330.4
Laguna Seca 264.6/264.8
Brno 299.3/292.0
Indianapolis 312.2/318.2
Misano 272.8/274.0
Aragon 319.8/328.8
PI 321.0/317.8
