@doohan
Stoner didn't get beaten up in the 125 and 250s, he took his share of wins in series that had very few winners sharing most wins between them (Lorenzo, Pedrosa &Stoner) names sound familiar?
Apart from which, I hate all the comparisons of how many races Rossi won vs the rest of the world. If that's what counts for you, stoner has over 1000 short track victorys, he had them before he turned 15. If you've ever raced short track or even been to a meet you'd understand how rediculous a stat that is.
I'd rather not look at silly unimportant things like that. When I watch motorbike racing I want those maniacs to do insane things crazy quick. That's what Lorenzo does. What Pedrosa does, what Rossi used to do (and hopefully will again) and what stoner did.

@Doohan,

Stoner has no balls? Really. He's one of the only riders left who says what he want, when he wants. Unlike Rossi who says what he is told too.

Stoner did not 'quit'. He retired. Did Rossi 'quit' Ducati because he couldnt ride it then?

You are not alone on your thoughts, and thats fine of course, but i am always interested in why people like yourself still seem to be 'debating' the whole Rossi V Stoner saga.

Yes they both have 2 titles, but there is no getting away from the fact that Stoner beat Rossi much more than Rossi beat Stoner. And Stoner did most of it whilst riding inferior equipment, as we all know.

Rossi has not beaten Stoner in anything since they have been up against each other.

You cannot possibly say that Rossi is 'better' than Stoner when he beat everyone in 125 and 250, apart from Stoner as he was not even racing with him. When they did race together, Stoner beat Rossi many more times than he lost to Rossi.

I always like to try and understand the

I always like to try and understand the logic behind Rossi fans posts, but its getting beyond a joke now. More so after the last 2 years we have had to injure constant excuses and moaning.

The whole Rossi V Stoner saga has been done and buried for over 2 years now, but some yellow fans still choose to try and keep it going but only embarrass themselves further. Some have learnt to drop it, some have not.

The fact is that Stoner is the only rider to ever get the better of Rossi on track whislt racing together on the same track.

This is what some yellow fans cannot grasp and what they find impossible to swallow.

Rossi may have dominated a weak field in the past, but that all changed when King Casey arrived. Suck it up guys and swallow it once and for all and you might even enjoy the sport for what it is.

Another comment by a Rossi fan who clearly knows little about the sport. The only competitive bike Casey got in his entire 125/250 career was the Carrera Aprilia in 2005. That year he took 10 podiums and 5 wins coming second to Pedrosa - a rider who is uniquely suited to tiny bikes. Casey chose to move up to the top class straight away rather than waste another year in 250cc as he like every racer knows that the true measure of a rider is how a rider is how they go in the top class. And since he's been in the top class he's smashed both Pedrosa and Rossi, despite being on inferior machiney for much of the time. Rossi vs Stoner while Stoner is on a Ducati - Stoner wins. Rossi vs Stoner while Rossi is on a Ducati - Stoner wins.

Don't be too sure about next year mr doohan and anyway, since when has 6th and 7th on an unlimited budget factory bike been 'at the top'?
The factory didn't want the bloke, it's only the marketing department with etch-a-sketch memories and dub-step on their ipods like the rest of the Rossi fans who conveniently ignore the facts each time they roll over in their sleep.
This sight was once the biggest Rossi sympathiser collective on the net, either most of those people have woken up or are too ashamed to post anymore! Nice to see the truth come out isn't it?

@ Doohan

"stoner was quick of which there is no doubt but he could only do it in fis and spats rossi took countless titles"

.. Until Stoner came along. Rossi beat Biaggi and Gibernau, while Stoners successes have come while he's been racing the supposed GOAT, and for much of that time Casey was on a Ducati. When Rossi switched to Ducati he got his **** handed to him week in week out by Stoner, he wasn't even in the same league.
