okay guys, news flash. Dani may have been on a good bike for 7 years, but only the best bike for 2011, half of 2010, and half of 2012... and even half of 2012 is debatable given he was riding with massive chatter.

Arguably in 2007 the Honda was the best bike, but Casey was the best rider, Valentino blamed the tires and then in 2008 Yamaha would be given tire preference with Bridgestone for the foreseeable future. The only rider who really had the best bike+tires over the most years of recent are Vale and Jorge.

Dani was injured in 2010 and 2011. Not bad from where I sit, hes only had the best bike for a fraction of the time hes been on it, and like I said, Stoner was so good in 2007, nobody remembers how Dani beat Rossi that year, but Dani was still getting past himself back then, and now hes older, wiser, and faster.

reality check, you are kidding mate! Pedro has never been the subject of fanboy attraction, the fact that he won the poll simply indicates that there's a strong probability that common sense has prevailed

EDIT by CRASH.NET! Trolling comment removed.

It continues to amaze me how many people who post on this forum have to trash other riders in order to make the case for their chosen one.
If you don't like Dani, fine. But some of the comments like loser and such are garbage.
He won the 125 in fine form, he won two 250 championships, winning half the races started, and he was immediately competitive in Moto GP against a more experienced and championship winning Hayden.
Since then, despite having a great bike, he has faced the mighty Yamahas with Rossi and then Pedrosa at their very best. And then he get Stoner for a teammate. A very difficult racing environment considering those three rank amongst the best of all time.
So this year, the second half of the season he raced to win while Jorge raced to not lose a championship, I think Dani deserves #1 status and at 27 years of age, he could still one or more championships.
Then again, Marquez might simply own MotoGp for the next several years.
It will be fun to watch and we should just e
