What do you mean by "flare and character"? Honest question.

I've been to MotoGPs at the circuits you've mentioned, except for Suzuka. I have only rode on Laguna Seca, so I can't compare them from a riding standpoint, but in terms of race atmosphere, LS was head and shoulders above Sachsenring - at least to me.

Mugello is something different altogether!

you hit upon the key word... "different". another term to describe it would be "variety". we've got old tracks mixing with new tracks. undulating, cambered, and flat. there is however, one critical element that supercedes all of these laymen concerns. ie. SAFETY. if a track hasn't been deemed safe by FIM standards (think suzuka, monza), the rest is moot.

You know... It's just an another permanent city circuit with all good and bad features. There is a lot of jokes in Russia that it will be the Russian version of the Macau GP.
