Rossi is still young only 33 he still has speed in him. Ducati was a failure altogether I find funny people counting him out he will surprise a lot of people!

I dont think people are counting him out I think it is more a case of people are all over ths Rossi is Goat thing.

Over the last two years he made many a silly comment and claims to which none came true.

Rossi is still a racer but nolonger the standing that he had regardless of how many wins he gets or doent get, his best years are behind him that we all should realise

Rossi will win the championship this year....Roman.

Oh dear,i seem to remember many a fool making just that prediction when he signed for Ducati!
And we all know what happened next dont we kiddies!
Some people should learn to keep their mouths firmly shut.

@ Roman,

For starters "brah", lets use this comment from you "Guaranteed Lorenzo fears Rossi more than any other rider out there. " "brah".

You Guarantee huh? You must be real personal freinds with Jorge to know what he fears and what he doesn't. History has shown that Jorge never feared Rossi, or anyone for that matter. But since you Guarantee it, it has to be fact right "brah"?

Then there is the "Rossi will win the championship take that to the bank" comment. Did your chicken bones dipped in bat blood tell you that "brah"?

Then there's the ignorant comments in the other threads "brah".

Should I go on or stop pointing out your failures "brah"?

@ are you saying his success was due to a lack of talented riders from 01-05? just curious

Relative to the current crop of riders now definitley.

IMO if it were not for the redesign of the M1, Ohlins providing him with the new stuff first, and Mich helping them out of set up problems with overnights, he wouldn't have won in 2004.

It's either the competition wasn't as good as it is now, or the M1 was not the pig of a bike people "claimed" it to be. Take your pick.

I believe Rossi is a superbly talented rider, and nothing takes away from his achievements. I just don't buy into the fanboy BS.

Same old Rossi crud being recycled everywhere. Yawn.

As for MM, it is interesting that all the sooth-sayers and wizards on here are talking only of MM success. He hasn't raced the thing yet, and his initial test ride in Valencia was good, but there wasn't enough to demonstrate anything clearly. How do they do it?

MM is on an HRC Honda, so he has 3 real rivals. IMO, to live up to the hype he'll need to finish top 2 (as will one Valentino Rossi).

On the kit they have, if Rossi or Marquez get beat (without crash or incident) by ANY other rider ion the field, then serious questions will be asked, as the factory Yams and Honda's should gap the rest of the field handsomely all the time.

Marquez is one of the most talented riders of new era, with no doubt! I agree with you, TalentFanBut - he hasn't been racing Moto GP yet. Test ride has been pure success but ... would the racing also be? Wait and see!

P.S.: funny how almost 99% of articles turn into Rossi story - no matter what the articles are about.
Just wondering why? :)
