Can I just say it was a delight to meet Bradley for the first time after he contacted me for the loan of a few parts for his trip . The lad is a nice honest polite person who we found to be a pleasure to have at our home . He now steps up to a massive chalenge but we all wish him the very best , we also got to talk to his Dad who is also one of lifes nice blokes . If only every racer was this nice , It reminded me of the old days .

@ "22 year old MotoGP Star"...Well that remains to be seen

Horse sh!t.

The worst rider on the grid is a star. Regardless as to my personal opinion that Smith did not deserve the ride above others, he is still a star, as they all are.

Good to see that he is out promoting motorcycle racing, which is always a positive.

Well yes it is yet to be seen how good he'll be on the Tech3 Yamaha, but at least he's there and I'm sure cal will help wherever with some advice, also he's was already with the team through moto2 so he does know everyone, which is also good for him and the team with continuity. it will certainly be an interesting season, he may not come out as rookie of the year because of the "DANGEROUS" Marquez (And they complained about #58 Simoncelli!!!) but he'll give it good showing I'm sure. He only lost out in 125s because he was in Spanish Team and they wanted a Spanish Champion, he's certainly done better than Terol!!

Stick to the topic Bradley to race R1 at Qatar. This is the article not wether or not he deserved his seat at Tech 3 as this is already a done deal and has been for a year. I feel the need to rant when I see such dumb comments and opinions posted on here. I'm 100% sure that not one person on here slagging off any rider has not a clue what it takes to compete in a sport at this level. For the record though Bradley finished the 2012 season 9th and mostly finished higher in the races than his qually position. Xavier Simeon his teamate finished 22nd who is the 2009 FIM Superstock 1000 Champion I will leave you to ponder this fact. Fank Yu.
