The only reason Monster are sponsoring the whole team instead of just Rossi like before, is because they were worried that Lorenzo would be showing Rossi the way round. Thus a rival product(Rockstar)getting more coverage.

Hmmm... so we'll have 4 Monster Yamaha on the track, hopefully they will differentiate the factory bikes from the satellite ones. Good news I suppose.

That's the truth dean, rockstar was going to sponsor Jorge and monster for Rossi,as you said they were worried about being overshadow by Jorge result,so they decided to sponsor the entire team, which it was rockstar vs monster though, that would have been cooler.

The factory Yam will not be in Monster colours, it is not the title sponsorship. As someone pointed out a new one has been rumoured.
Both Pramac and Gresini have anounced new sponsors today, only for Ianone on in the Pramac garage though.

I just bought some Monster Energy stocks. Rossi delivers when it comes to sales....Tek9.

Lets see if he can deliver on track shall we!
36 races without a victory is likely to knock ones confidence a tad.

"36 races without a victory is likely to knock ones confidence a tad."

Or make one very hungry now they have a bike they are confident on. Rossi is gonna race hard in 2013, he's got a point to prove! May not win the chamionship, but he's going to produce some great racing, you just watch!

monster vs rockstar lorenzo vs rossi u could sense the fear coming the vr 'fix it in 80secs' squad...rossi gets his sorry ass handed to him on a plate and monster and left trailing behind rockstar so yet again vr turns things to suit him but jl will still be the'goat'
*sits back and wait for vr fan boys of 18months to appear*

Monster paid over $4 million to Rockstar and Lorenzo (break-up is not available, 50-50 is current paddock rumour).

They paid this amount because they could not afford to have Lorenzo beat Rossi on track.

Would have been hilarious, Rockstar lapping Monster....oh well.
