As soon as Crutchlow gets either a win or a pole, I will believe in him. Seeing as a satellite hasn't won a race since 06, I'm betting agaisnt him. I like him as a person, but as a rider he's just middle of the pack until he proves me wrong.

Ezpeleta lacks the discretion that his position demands, he shouldn't be seen to be favouring one rider over another, Dorna is already open to criticism of manipulating the results for better commercial positioning......still no worse than professional wrestling I guess!

Posted by RON: "The sooner Rossi goes away the better."
The better for whom?? We will be stuck with scenes of Lorenzo jumping in the pond and drowning. Maybe Ron, you have not been watching motorcycle racing for the last 50+ years. The sport needs names Like Redman, Saarinen, Ago, Hailwood, Sheene, Doohan, Rossi, to name a few of the greats. Lorenzo and Dani (brilliantly talented as they are)will never ever have the following that Rossi and Sic have enjoyed. The next kid, Marquez, will be hard to beat on that Honda. But then of course you could be Australian

do not so be naive...
Every rider got/get help from Dorna, in many terms, salary, bike, etc etc.. Even the bitter one which againts dorna, stoner also got help when he entered motogp, went to ducati n honda..
Dorna has to run the event ...
But one think agreed by all, Dorna depend too much to 46' popularity..

I'm sorry but the Honda is just too fast now. Nothing against Dani but lets be honest the honda overpowered and was just plain quicker at least 1 or 2 steps above the yamaha in the last part of the season. If it wasnt for the chatter they suffered at the start who knows what would have happened. The acceleration advantage they have is just too much. lorenzo is an exceptional rider but you saw he couldnt compare at the end and had to use his smooth riding and consistency just to keep up. I believe Rossi is more of a complete racer as compared to stoner and lorenzo. If people think hes lost it your on another planet. He slightly slower than stoner and slightly less smoother than lorenzo but he just has something else that the other two dont have. If he can get to within at least 1-2 hundredths per lap from the leaders then I cant wait for this season...

Same as I put in the Ago thread about VR...

I'm not foolish enough to state categorically what WILL happen (as some have stating Rossi WILL win the WC).

But I will venture an opinion. I think Lorenzo had the upper hand when he was Rossi's No2. I think JL's improved since then as well.

Consequently (and assuming the kit remains truly equal and Lorenzo stays healthy, isn't torpedoed with regularity by a wayward Marquez or similar etc.) then I don't think that Rossi will beat JL over a season.

I also think it likely that Pedrosa has the measure of Rossi as well, making another MotoGP WC even less likely IMO.

Of course I also have to consider that I could be wrong. We shall see.
