He wasnt PBMs first choice but he said yes where others didnt. I don't think if he had the choice he would be racing the PBM CRT bike but his other options were limited even in BSB.

I wonder if Laverty blames the Bridgestone tyres each and every time he doesn't perform.....

I found it very tieresome in 2012 BSB when a rider blames tyres from round one all the way through to the final round. Perhaps he needs to learn how to set the bike up to get the tyres to work.

If he lasts the whole season in the PBM team I'll have my head shaved for charity...

Hmm.. Sounds a lot like the Blata-WCM V6 from years gone by.

Don't be surprised if it fails to see the light of day, especially with new regulations coming along next season. Seems like a waste of R&D, unless he can shoehorn a leased Yamaha (or other) engine in it next year.
